Pollock Cohen managing partner Adam Pollock filed the suit on behalf of lead plaintiff Chris Dowling, alleging that Sterling Mets violated New York City’s biometrics law by collecting facial templates from event attendees and selling this data to third parties. In the article, Pollock notes that, New York City is a leader in protecting individuals’ biometric data, but the defendants are “improperly” collecting biometrics from event goers.
