Bloomberg Law: New York Mets Sued Over Biometric-Data Collection at Citi Field

In “New York Mets Sued Over Biometric-Data Collection at Citi Field” (Bloomberg Law, September 6, 2024), Bloomberg Law reports on the class action lawsuit filed against Sterling Mets LP, the owner of the New York Mets, for selling biometric data collected from visitors at Citi Field without consent.

Pollock Cohen managing partner Adam Pollock filed the suit on behalf of lead plaintiff Chris Dowling, alleging that Sterling Mets violated New York City’s biometrics law by collecting facial templates from event attendees and selling this data to third parties.
