In "Groupon Settles Suit Targeting Bogus Small Biz Discounts" (Law360, November 16, 2023), Law360 discusses the settlement of a suit between Groupon Inc. and a nationwide class of small businesses who claim that the platform's descriptions of their business were rife with inaccuracies, and that Groupon falsely advertised deals. Both Groupon and the small businesses received an Illinois federal judge's approval for their largely non-monetary settlement.
