In “What You Need to Know about NYC Retirees’ Health Care Fight” (City & State New York, July 11, 2023), City & State New York reports that New York City's plan to switch 250,000 retired employees to a privatized Medicare Advantage insurance plan has been temporarily blocked by a Manhattan Supreme Court Justice. This decision is the fifth victory in the courts for the retirees.
