In “Former DHS Disinformation Export Sues Fox for Defamation” (The Mehdi Hasan Show, May 21, 2023), our firm discusses the defamation lawsuit filed against Fox News Network and Fox Corporation by Pollock Cohen, Farnan LLP, and Upper Seven Law on behalf of Nina Jankowicz, the former executive director of the former Department of Homeland Security’s Disinformation Governance Board.
Fox News hosts have made numerous demonstrably false claims about Nina Jankowicz. They claimed she was attempting to censor American's speech when her board had no authority to do so. They claimed that she was fired from her position when she is known to have resigned due to threats and harassment. They claimed that she wanted verified Twitter users to be able to edit the comments of other users, something which she does not support.
The lawsuit was filed in the Superior Court of the State of Delaware by Pollock Cohen LLP, Upper Seven Law, and Farnan LLP.
