In "Chris Leung Among the New York Law Journal 2021 Distinguished Leaders" (New York Law Journal, August 4, 2021), former partner Christopher Leung is named as a recipient of the 2021 New York Law Journal Distinguished Leader award. The award recognizes the attorneys in leadership roles who achieved impressive results in the past year and who had great performances while demonstrating clear leadership skills leading to positive outcomes.
The New York Law Journal noted Chris’s representation, suing the FDA over its failure to address the harms caused by menthol in cigarettes, for the African American Tobacco Control Leadership Council (AATCLC), Action on Smoking and Health (ASH), American Medical Association (AMA), and the National Medical Association (NMA).
